Quick note from Oman-

I really did think that this blog was an awesome idea. I would have loved to know...something, anything...about Oman before I came here. And I keep meaning to post things. And then I forget.

Anyway, I am here in the gulf for another month and things have been...crazy, to say the least. I have studied abroad before (in high school) but this...it's a world apart. The homestay component of my program (we all live with Omanis) in particular has had a HUGE impact on my experiences here.

I try to post on my personal blog as often as I can...maybe a few times a week. And I will try to add in comments here when I can! I have also been posting a ridiculous number of photos on facebook (I have not been able to put my camera down-and usually I'm not like that at all!) so if anyone is interested in what the gulf looks like.

But for now...hope the semester's going well!
